Over the years I have see so many other peoples idea’s of Roland on the net from art to film and I find the variations of this character fascinating. When exposed to this sort of description of a character, everyone has their own reality version of what he looks like. I think far wider than what we see as other characters like soldiers or policemen. Everyone has a Roland and because we can relate to him, the character entails physical parts and expressions of our own experiences . I think this is a sign of a brilliantly written character.
